“Adhipurush” Trailer released with improved VFX, Prabhas-Kriti-Saif adds stunning visuals to India’s timeless epic

Amid high anticipation, the new preview for Adipurush, the grandiose motion picture featuring Prabhas, has finally been unveiled. Directed by Om Raut, the film is a cinematic retelling of the legendary Ramayana, with Prabhas portraying Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon as Sita, and Saif Ali Khan playing the role of Lankesh. Although the teaser for Adipurush had been released the previous year, it was met with negative feedback due to the poor quality of its visual effects. As a result of the critical response, the film’s release was delayed, and the visuals were refined.
The latest trailer stands out from its predecessor and shows evident efforts to enhance the visual effects. In contrast to the previous version, which appeared to be a partially unfinished product, the current one is approaching the standard of high-budget Indian movies. However, the trailer’s visual quality declines as it progresses, with the concluding battle scene appearing as unpolished as the one in the teaser.
The trailer commences with Hanuman’s narration, guiding us through the familiar plot points of Raghav’s exile, Sita’s kidnapping, and the construction of the bridge to Lanka. The latter half of the trailer comprises mostly of battle scenes and speeches, with Raghav motivating his troops to join him in the fight. In contrast to the teaser, the new trailer only provides a brief glimpse of Lankesh, who appears in disguise halfway through and makes a fleeting appearance towards the end.
On Monday, a special screening of the trailer for the film “Adipurush” took place in Hyderabad. The event was attended by the movie’s team, which includes Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and director Om Raut, at a theatre in Hyderabad. According to reports, fans attended the screening and chanted “Jai Shri Ram.” Prabhas addressed the fans after the trailer screening, saying, “Jai Shri Ram! How did you like the trailer? How about the CG? The whole team, including Kriti Sanon and Bhushan Kumar, decided to release the trailer in Hyderabad first. The response here for Adipurush has always been extraordinary. We all came here to see your response because if you like it, everyone will like it. Jai Shri Ram. Love you all.”
