IPL 2023: KKR beats RCB but what Shahrukh Khan did with Virat Kohli win Hearts

After losing their first match against Punjab by 7 runs by D/W method Kolkata Knight Riders came out strong against Bangalore beating them with a margin of 81 runs in the Eden Garden Stadium of Kolkata.

After losing the toss against Bangalore, Kolkata was asked to bat first where they despite being thrown in a tight spot managed to set a target of 205 after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. After losing some early wickets, Gurbaz and Shardul took care of the team, individually scoring 57(44) and 68(29) respectively.

Later, in the second innings, RCB headed to a good start, but, all came down rumbling when Varun Chakrabarty took 4 down followed by Narine with 2 wickets, Shardul with 1 wicket and 3 surprising wickets from debutante Suyash Sharma.

But, what caught the eyes of the netizens the most was Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan showing love to RCB cricketer Virat Kohli, after the match was over. SRK was seen smiling and sharing a laugh with Virat Kohli, while SRK put his palm on Kohli’s cheek to show him, love. “KKR ne Match Jeeta aur SRK ne Dill” A fan page commented. Another called them “Delhi ke Londay” since both of them are from Delhi. Some wrote “Kings in one frame.” while some wrote “SRK Spreading Love: – Their Toxic Fans Spreading Hate.”

Shah Rukh Khan was there to support his Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens Stadium. He was accompanied by his daughter Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor. SRK was also seen grooving to his popular song “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” from his blockbuster movie “Pathaan.”
Co-owner of KKR, Juhi Chawla was also seen cheering for the team at Eden Gardens. Talking to the media she said that she is very happy with the team’s performance and that she hopes and prays that KKR wins all the matches from here on.
