IPL 2023: Last Minute of Action, Drama and Emotion yet RCB could not come out from Bad Luck’s Shadow vs LSG

In a thrilling match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants, Lucknow Super Giants beat RCB by 1 wicket.
What once seemed like a comfortable win for Lucknow suddenly changed into a struggle when LSG lost a couple of quick wickets after Nicolas Puran in the dying overs.
Winning the toss, Lucknow Super Giants put Royal Challengers Bangalore to bat first.
Skipper Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli gave a good start to the team.
Both the openers smashed half-century. Virat Kohli scored 61 runs of 44 balls and the skipper added 71 runs of 49 balls to the total.
Du Plessis remained unbeaten hitting five fours and five sixes. Whereas opener Virat Kohli was caught out by Amit Mishra. He hit four fours and four sixes in this inning. The breakthrough came in the third ball of the 11th over.

Coming to bat in place of Virat Kohli, Glen Maxwell also hit his half-century adding 59 runs of 29 balls. He was bowled by Mark Wood.
With this devastating inning by Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glen Maxwell, RCB successfully put in a huge total of 212 runs in j20 overs losing only 2 wickets.
Chasing a total of 2013, Lucknow Super Giants had an early fall of wickets. The Bangalore bowlers sent back openers KL Rahul for 18 runs and Kyle Mayers for a Golden Duck.
After that Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya also could add any extra runs to chase. Krunal Pandya was the second batter of the match to go for a Golden Duck.
It was Markus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran who put up a fight against the RCB bowlers.
He smacked Four fours and seven sixes before he was caught out by Mohammed Shiraz at 62 runs of 19 balls.
Nicholas Pooran now has the record for the fastest 50 of the IPL 2023 season. He broke the previous record of the fastest 50 in 19 balls, scored by CSK’s Ajinkya Rahane.

Pooran was followed by Stoinis who added 65 runs of 30 balls. He smashed Six fours and five sixes. He was caught out by Karn Sharma.
After that Ayush Badoni, a young talent of Lucknow Super Giants smashed a couple of boundaries before getting himself bowled by hit wicket of Parnell’s bowl.
He scored a decent 30 of 24 balls in the most need of the hour.
With another this win, Lucknow Super Giants now have 3 wins in their bag out of 4 matches, still leading the points table of the IPL 2023.
