Rishi Kapoor’s Family Remembers Him on His Death Anniversary

On Instagram, Neetu posted a throwback photo of her and Rishi Kapoor from their past vacations. They can be seen standing together, smiling for the camera. In the picture, Neetu wears a blue top and grey shorts while Rishi dons a blue T-shirt with matching pants. Neetu accessorizes with dark sunglasses and carries a bag, whereas Rishi completes his look with a hat, sunglasses, and a backpack.

In the post’s caption, she wrote, “Every day, we miss you along with all the joyful and happy memories.” Mawra Hocane responded to the post by posting red heart emojis, Karisma Kapoor used folding hands, hibiscus, and yellow heart emojis, and Rakesh Roshan shared red heart and hibiscus emojis. Apart from the family, the extended family like Madhoo, Sunita Kapoor, and Farah Khan Ali showed their love by posting red heart emojis. They were all reminiscing about Rishi Kapoor’s early days.

On her Instagram Stories, Riddhima shared a picture of herself, her daughter Samara Sahni, Neetu, Rishi, and Ranbir Kapoor. She expressed her affection for the picture by writing, “Love this picture #family.” Additionally, Riddhima posted a throwback photo of herself as a toddler with Rishi, with the caption, “I miss you every day.” Another photo of Rishi smiling for the camera was also shared by Riddhima, and she expressed her love for him by writing, “And sometimes I just scroll down the gallery, to see you smiling. Love you.”

After fighting leukemia for two years, the 90’s heartthrob Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 67. Throughout his career, he appeared in numerous films, such as Bobby, Laila Majnu, Rafoo Chakkar, Chandni, Henna, Saagar, Do Dooni Chaar, Agneepath, Amar Akbar Anthony, Kabhi Kabhie, Naseeb, Coolie, and Ajooba. He also acted in Kapoor & Sons, Mulk, 102 Not Out, and many others.

In a recent interview with news agency PTI, Ranbir Kapoor shared his thoughts on losing a parent. He stated, “The loss of a parent is one of the most significant things that can happen in an individual’s life… Especially when you’re approaching your 40s, as that’s when something like this typically occurs… However, it brings the family closer together. It provides you with an understanding of life and helps you appreciate your loved ones, priorities, and what truly matters.”
